A grieving therapist begins telling his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making major changes in people’s lives—including his own. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least get him to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project to him, generating interest from other notable actors. In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was elated nonetheless. Shrink was as good as I expected. At first, as soon as I saw Harrison Ford and Jason Segal starring in it, I was going to watch it, but after reading all the positive reviews and watching the trailer, my excitement grew even more. Well, I just finished it and it not only met my expectations, but it exceeded them. I’m not saying it’s the best show of the year, but it’s an original and enjoyable comedy that will have you laughing throughout every episode. I definitely recommend it, but make sure you have enough time to watch it because you’ll want to binge it as soon as possible.
