Danielle Deadwyler (Till, The Harder They Fall, The Piano Lesson) stars as Ramona, a woman devastated by grief after surviving a car accident that took the life of her husband (Russell Hornsby; BMF, Fences). Seriously injured, Ramona is now left to care for her 14-year-old son (Peyton Jackson; Respect, American Refugee) and 6-year-old daughter (Estella Kahiha; Will Trent, BMF) alone on their rural property. Then one day, a woman appears in their backyard. Ramona assumes the woman (Okwui Okpokwasili; The Witcher: The Believer, Julia Taymor’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream) is either lost or demented, but as the woman approaches the house, it becomes clear that she is no ordinary character; her intentions are anything but peaceful. Now Ramona must pull herself together to protect herself and her children from the clutches of a woman who simply won’t leave them alone.
