Synopsis
A Montana ranching family faces off against other people encroaching on their land. Forty J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned rodeo veteran. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often "forgets" his Montanan accent and drifts back into the SoCal speaking voice he usually uses. I think this show is a very strong story and where Costner is at his best. As a half-Native American, one thing I noticed about the first season is that it makes you wonder who the good guys and the bad guys are – maybe both sides are good and bad. I admit it was neat to see them filming. While here, the farm is right next to me and I travel almost daily on my way to fish in the Bitterroot River.
